This course will cover issues related to Hyperemesis Gravidarum and the effects of starvation on the pregnant woman and the fetus, perinatal risks and when and why parenteral nutrition is needed, international nutritional guidelines in pregnancy and diet in special situations (diabetes, hypertension, etc.). The correct restoration of vitamin and trace element deficiencies in pregnancy, international nutritional guidelines for the mother during lactation, the beneficial effects of breastfeeding on the occurrence of infections, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, obesity and diabetes, breastfeeding and the risk of osteoporosis, the optimal duration of breastfeeding. The treatment of childhood obesity.
