This course will develop topics related to feeding via nasogastric or nasojeustic catheter, gastrostomy, jejunostomy. The treatment of nutritional disorders and deficiencies in malabsorption syndrome, short bowel syndrome, celiac disease and IBD. Diet in cirrhosis and chronic liver disease.

Treatment of deficiencies and nutritional support in patients with acute or chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer and post-pancreatectomy.

Optimal nutritional support and its effect on quality of life and prolongation of survival in patients with chronic neurological diseases. Nutritional interventions in Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's patients.

Preoperative assessment and rehabilitation of nutritional disorders. Assessment and treatment of nutritional disorders and deficiencies in hemodialysis patients and finally the rehabilitation of deficiencies in patients in the ICU.
