The Postgraduate Program Vascular Ultrasound in Diagnosis and Management was established as a postgraduate program of the Department of Medicine of the University of Thessaly (Government Gazette Establishment Issue B’ 645/15-2-2022) and its structure is in accordance to the Operational Regulation of the University of Thessaly ( Government Gazette Establishment Issue B’ 6071/13-11-2025). The MSc is addressed to graduates of the Departments of Medicine and other related biomedical sciences, from all over the world. Lectures are delivered in English Language, on- line , it is a full-time MSc Program and awards a Diploma of Postgraduate Studies (MSc) entitled “MSc in Vascular Ultrasound in Diagnosis and Management”. The total number of ECTS credits required to obtain the Postgraduate Diploma (MSc) is 90 ECTS.

The MSc Vascular Ultrasound in Diagnosis and Management has a mission to cultivate and promote through academic and applied teaching and research the high-level training of researchers and health professionals in the preventive control, diagnosis and functional investigation of vascular diseases and postoperative follow-up. It also helps to enhance skills in minimally invasive ultrasound-guided vascular treatment. Finally, it provides its Graduates with the necessary skills that will ensure their excellent training for their academic scientific and research careers internationally.
