Dimitris Richter
Dimitris Richter, finished his specialty in Cardiology at the Hippocrates Hospital of Athens in 1999 and then left with a scholarship from the European Society of Cardiology in Great Britain. Since 2004, he has been the Director of the Cardiology Clinic of the Euroclinic of Athens
He researched the epidemiology and risk factors of coronary heart disease in the Greek population where he developed a rich writing and research project.
To date he has published more than 70 papers in prestigious international cardiology journals, presented more than 150 research papers at conferences and has been an invited speaker at more than 1000 conferences in recent years.
He has written chapters in Cardiology books, is a reviewer of papers at Greek and International Conferences and journals as well as the editor of the Heart and Vascular magazine of the Hellenic Foundation of Cardiology
He has been President of the Coronary Disease Prevention Group of the Hellenic Society of Cardiology, President of the Hellenic Society of Lipidiology, and is currently President of IMETHA and the Council of Clinical Cardiology of the European Society of Cardiology and a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Cardiology Foundation as well as many other scientific committees .
He has been a member of the committee for the preparation of Guidelines both in the Hellenic and in the European Society of Cardiology.
