Karagiannidis Efstratios
Efstratios Karagiannidis was born in Thessaloniki and studied at the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from where he graduated in 2010 with an Honors degree.
He then completed 2 years of General Pathology at the Argos General Hospital and 1 year of Cardiology at G. Gennimatas General Hospital. Then, he trained for 3 years in Cardiology at the "ACHEPA" University General Hospital and received the Cardiology specialty title.
He holds a PhD in the field of interventional cardiology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and two postgraduate degrees: in health policy from the London School of Economics in collaboration with the European Society of Cardiology and in research methodology and biostatistics from the University of Thessaly.
He has participated as an author in more than 35 papers in foreign language pubmed-indexed scientific journals, including the European Heart Journal. He has been a speaker at numerous conferences in Greece and abroad, as well as a member of the Bureau at major conferences including the ESC Congress. Additionally, he has participated as a researcher in international multicenter studies.
Since 2019 he is a member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC Education Committee).
