INTERDEPARTMENTAL PROGRAM OF GRADUATE STUDIES
"Ethics and Ethics in Biomedical Sciences"
The Department of Medicine and the Department of Nursing of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly announce the start of the submission of candidacy applications for the academic year 2025-2026 of the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Studies Program (DPMS) entitled: "Ethics and Ethics in the Biomedical Sciences".
The purpose of the DPMS is to familiarize students with the ethical, legal principles and issues related to the practice of Medicine and the Health Sciences as well as the Bio-sciences, contributing to their armor in the exercise of their professional duties with the aim of the future avoiding mistakes, capable of threatening their professional status and dignity.
At DPMS, graduates of Departments of Schools of Health Sciences of HEIs and ATEIs of the country or of similar institutions abroad, which are related to the subject of the DPMS.
Duration of studies: 3 semesters - starting in October 2025
Tuition: 2,500 euros (1st semester: 1,000 euros, 2nd semester: 1,000 euros, 3rd semester: 500 euros).
Credit Units (ECTS): 90
Eight (8) compulsory courses and preparation of a postgraduate thesis.
The lessons are held once (1) once a month Friday afternoon and Saturday.

The selection of students at DPMS is made after evaluation of the following supporting documents:
- Application for Candidacy (in the FORMS section on the DPMS website)
- Detailed CV (according to the template in the FORMS section on the DPMS website)
- Copy of degree or certificate that the candidate has fulfilled his educational obligations. In the case of graduates of foreign universities, the recognition of the institution's title is based on the provisions of art. 304, paras. 4 and 5 and art. 307 of Law 4957/21-7-2022.
- Copy of Detailed Gradebook
- Scientific publications, awards, and evidence of research activity (if any)
- Evidence of professional experience (if any)
- Two letters of recommendation (from an employer or professor)
- Photocopy of both sides of the police ID card
- Proof of foreign language proficiency, officially translated
- One ID photo
