Candidate selection process

The MSc accepts appications from Graduates of Health Sciences Faculties and other Departments of the Universities of the country or recognized similar institutions abroad such as (Biologists, Chemists, Biochemists, Clinical Dietitians, Nutritionists, Teachers of Physical Education, Teachers, Physiotherapists, Psychologists or graduates of other related subjects) as well as graduates of TEI Departments of relevant cognitive subject.

Holders of a foreign University degree are admitted from institutions which are included in the relevant register of the DOATAP in accordance with Article 304 of Law 4957/2022. A Master’s degree is not awarded to a student whose first cycle degree from a foreign institution has not been recognized by the Interdisciplinary Organization for the Recognition of Academic Qualifications and Information (DOATAP). According to article 304 of Law 4957/2022, the application with the required documents is submitted to the Secretariat of the Master’s degree program, which undertakes to examine the applications on the basis of the criteria of Law 4957/2022, without them being accompanied by an act of recognition of the DOATAP.

If the degree from a foreign university is included in the DOATAP list, the MSc Secretariat must request a Certificate of Place of Study, which is issued and sent by the foreign university. Applications in which the place of study is confirmed as the Greek territory are excluded, unless the part of the studies undertaken in the Greek territory is at a public university.

Graduates of other specializations of higher education institutions and TEI are also accepted under conditions of additional criteria and taking into account proven professional and research experience related to the subject of the MSc, following a decision of the director.

A prerequisite for selection is sufficient knowledge of the English language with a B2 level language proficiency certificate. In the absence of a certificate, sufficient knowledge of English is certified by the Language Commission.

The maximum number of admission to the MSc is set at forty (40) postgraduate students (MSc).
